Women's football has been growing in popularity in our country, in this way, the aim of this study was to analyze the origin of goals by the teams that participated in the Female Brazilian football Championship in 2017. We analyzed 126 games of the competition. The analyzed variables were the goals scored in normal moves (in attack or counter-attack moves), free kicks, goalkeeper failure, own goals, penalty kicks and corner kicks. The results showed a higher incidence of goals in normal moves (70,91%). The second, goals in penalty kicks (10,10%). The findings of this research allow us to conclude that women's sootball teams in brazil are not effective in standing ball games, especially in corner kicks, which showed low hit rates (1.44%). In addition, it is suggested that adjustments (reduction) in the size of the goals be made for the women's competitions, aiming at an improvement of the visual quality of the matches and increase of the competitiveness between the teams.
