Abstract:

It is possible to say that one of the impacts of the rapid development of globalization has also shown itself in the study of foreign policy analysis. With the globalization, the clear definition of the state has begun to become clear and the sharp boundaries have begun to disappear. This has made the interaction between the internal structure of the state and the external system more sensitive. This development can be reflected in the external policy analysis, but it can be said that the internal and external policy differences occur in the form of a slow disappearance. In light of these developments, the influence of international and regional systems on the foreign policy guidelines of the states as well as how these impacts are assessed by the decision-making mechanism has become the focus of the researchers. The bureaucratic decision-making mechanisms of the states, the decision-making units, the types of regimes, the forms of opposition and the relationship between them and the impact of their transition over time on foreign policy have recently become an important field of examination. In particular, with the end of the Cold War, a significant interaction between the internal and external policies has increased the importance of the internal political structures of the states’ influence on foreign policy decisions.
