Bugünkü Kuzey-Doğu Türkçesinin ikinci dönemi için kullanılan Çağatay Türkçesi 15.yüzyıldan başlayarak 20.yüzyıl başlarına kadar olan dönemi kapsar. Ali Şir Nevayi, Çağatay Türkçesinin en önemli isimlerinden biri olup bu döneme gerek eserleri gerekse yetiştirdiği şairler ile büyük katkıda bulunmuştur. Nevayi, hayatı boyunca yaşadığı tüm zorluklara rağmen Türk dilinin büyüklüğünü ve zenginliğini savunmuş bir Türk dili milliyetçisidir. Bunu yansıtan en önemli yapıtı ise Muhakemetü’l-Lugateyn’dir. Bu eserde Türkçe ile Farsçanın mukayesesini yaparak Türkçenin anlam zenginliği ile imla ve gramer kuralları bakımından Farsçadan üstün bir dil olduğunun savunmasını yapmıştır. Muhakemetü’l-Lugateyn, hayatın farklı yönlerine uzanan bir söz varlığına sahiptir. Akrabalık adları, dağlık ve düzlük yer adları, giysiler, yemek ve hayvan adları gibi geniş bir alanı içine alır. Hayvan adlarından yola çıkılarak o dönemdeki hayvan isimlerini ihtiva eden söz varlığı üzerine bilgi sahibi olmak mümkündür. Bu çalışmada Muhakemetü’l-Lugateyn’de geçen hayvan adları tespit edilmiş ve türlerine göre sınıflandırılmıştır. Yapılacak olan bu çalışma ile eserde geçen hayvan adları kavram alanına göre belirlenecek, belirlenen hayvan adlarından Türkiye Türkçesinde kullanılmaya devam edilenlere de dikkat çekilecektir.
Today's North-Eastern Turkish's second period includes the period from the 15th century to the beginning of the 20th century. Ali Şir Nevayi is one of the most important names of the Çağatay Turkish and has made a great contribution to this period with the poets he has grown up. Nevayi is a Turkish language nationalist who, despite all the difficulties he experienced throughout his life, defended the size and wealth of the Turkish language. The most important creation that reflects this is the Procurator L-Lugateyn. In this work, he made the comparison of Turkish and Persian by defending that Turkish is a language superior to Persian in terms of meaning wealth and imla and grammar rules. Muhammad’l-Lugateyn has an existence of a word that extends to different aspects of life. The names of the relatives, the mountains and the plains take into a wide range of land names, such as clothes, food and animal names. It is possible to know the name of the animal by means of the name of the animal in that period. In this study, the names of the animals passed in Mahakemetü'l-Lugateyn were identified and classified according to their species. The name of the animal in the work will be determined according to the concept area, and the name of the animal in the Turkish language will also be attracted to those that are continued to be used in Turkey.
