Abstract:

This research was made to define the methods of measurement -evaluation which is used in drawing education for in fine arts and sport high school. At this research which is restricted only for drawing lesson and it is tried to find how the art teachers who work in this schools define the measurement and evaluation. At this research, resources which contain information to the terms of education, art education, assessment and evaluation technique was examined to determinate the type of the problem condition. The study group consists of 68 visual art teachers. Data that is related to the research is obtained by means of experiment and observation statistically. There is significant difference between the art teacher assessment and evaluation result. As a result it was determined in art education evaluation that different art education assessment strategies are not used by art teachers. And, there are different results in traditional evaluation and evaluation with criterion
