Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı amatör erkek futbolcuların sportif özgüven düzeylerinin, mevkiye, baskın ayak durumuna, spor yaşına, eğitim durumu ve ekonomik duruma göre incelenmesidir. Yöntem: Çalışmada nicel araştırma desenlerinden kesitsel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın örneklemini 18 yaş üzeri 118 erkek amatör futbolcu (yaş:16,55±4,67 yıl) oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma verileri “Sportif Sürekli Kendine Güven (SSKG)” ölçeği ve “Kişisel Bilgi Formu (KBF)” kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Verilerin istatistiksel analizinde “Mann Whitney-U” ve “Kruskall Wallis” testleri kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: İstatistiksel sonuçlara göre amatör futbolcuların kendine güven düzeyinin yüksek olduğu bulunmuştur. Sporcuların ölçek ortalama ve toplam puanları arasında, mevkiye, eğitim durumuna göre anlamlı fark olmadığı (p>0,05), ancak spor yaşına göre anlamlı bir fark olduğu belirlenmiştir (p<0,05). Bununla birlikte baskın ayak durumuna göre yalnızca ölçek toplam puanları arasında, ekonomik duruma göre de yalnızca ölçek ortalama puanları arasında anlamlı fark olduğu tespit edilmiştir (p<0,05). Tek ayağı baskın olan sporcular ile her iki ayağı baskın olan futbolcular arasında ve spor yaşı 0-1 yıl olan futbolcular ile 2-4 yıl ve 5 yıl üzeri futbolcular arasında anlamlı fark olduğu tespit edilmiştir (p<0,05). Sonuç: Sonuç olarak amatör futbolcuların sportif performans açısından kendine güven düzeyinin yüksek olduğu futbolcuların kendine güven düzeyi üzerine spor yaşı, baskın ayak, ekonomik durum etki ederken eğitim düzeyi, oynadığı mevkinin etki etmediği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
Purpose: The aim of this study is to examine the level of continuous sports self-confidence in amateur football players in terms of according to playing position, dominant foot, sports trainig age, educational and economic status. Method: The cross-sectional research method, one of the quantitative research designs, was used in the study. The sample of the study consists of 118 male amateur football players over the age of 18 (age: 16.55±4.67 years). Research data were collected using the "Sport Trait Self-Confidence (STSC)" scale. “Mann Whitney-U” and “Kruskall Wallis” tests were used in the statistical analysis of the data. Results: According to statistical results; It has been found that amateur football players have a high level of self-confidence. No significant difference between the scale average and total scores of the athletes according to position and education level (p>0.05), but there was a significant difference according to sports age (p<0.05). However, it was a significant difference only between the scale total scores according to dominant foot status and only between the scale average scores according to economic status (p <0.05). There was a significant difference between athletes who were dominant in one foot and football players who were dominant in both feet, and between football players whose sports age was 0-1 year and football players whose sports age was 2-4 years and over 5 years (p<0.05). Conclusion: As a result, amateur football players have a high level of self-confidence in terms of sports performance; while sports age, dominant foot and economic situation affect the self-confidence level of football players; it was concluded that the level of education and the position played did not affect the situation.
