Tüm dünyada görülen COVID 19 pandemisi, ülkemizde ilk vakaya tanı konulması ile birlikte alınan önlemler çerçevesinde Türk yüksek öğretimini de etkilemeye başlamıştır. Akredite bir Tıp Fakültesi olan Eskişehir Osmangazi Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi’nde uzaktan eğitime başlanan mart ayından bu yana eğitim öğretim alanında yaşanan değişiklikler ve gelecek için yapılan planlamalar makalede sunulmaktadır. Tıp fakültesi öğretim üyelerinin sağlık hizmetinin yanı sıra uzaktan eğitim metodlarını hızla benimseyerek kullanıyor olması gerçek bir başarıdır. Pandeminin eğitim öğretimde yarattığı değişiklikler, sıkıntılar ve fırsatlar değerlendirilerek tıp eğitiminin bu süreçten en az zarar görerek çıkması öğretim üyelerinin yanı sıra tıp öğrencilerinin de gayret ve özverileri ile sağlanabilecektir.
The worldwide COVID 19 pandemic has begun to affect Turkish higher education in the framework of the measures taken together with the first case diagnosis in our country. A accredited Medical Faculty of Eskişehir Osmangazi University Medical Faculty has been presented in the article about the changes in the field of education and the plans for the future since the beginning of the distance education in March. It is a real success that doctors of the Faculty of Medicine are using medical services as well as remote learning methods rapidly. The changes, difficulties and opportunities created by the pandemic in educational education will be assessed and the outcome of medical education by damaging this process will be provided by the faculty members as well as by the efforts and commitments of the medical students.
The COVID 19 pandemic, which is seen all over the World, has started to affect Turkish higher education within the preventive actions taken with the first case seen in our country. The changes in medical education and future plans since march with the beginning of distance learning in Eskisehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine as an accredited medical faculty are presented in the article. It is a real success that faculty members of medical faculty adopt and use distance learning methods as well as health services. By evaluating the changes, difficulties and opportunities created by the pandemic in education, medical education can be achieved with the least damage from this process with the efforts and devotion of medical students as well as faculty members.
