Abstract:

In this study, the aim of the "Fen and Technology Teaching-I" course is to study the letter writing activity as a learning-purpose writing activity according to the opinions of the teacher candidates. The examples of the study, the Faculty of Education, class teaching bachelor's program, consist of 120 teachers candidates. The research has been conducted according to the approach. The data was collected through a survey form created by the researchers. According to the results obtained in this study, teachers candidates have stated that their writing activities enhanced and strengthened the knowledge of the subject, sending the information to research to learn. In addition, it has been revealed that from the opinions of the teaching candidates, the information learned with the writing activities is more durable, the writing activities make the teaching process more active. Many teaching candidates have said they will use this type of writing activities in their own classes in the future.
