1 kW Rüzgâr Türbini için Enerji Üretim ve Gelir Hesabı: Kahramanmaraş Bölgesi Örnek Çalışması

Abstract:

Günümüzde, ülkelerin gelişmişlik düzeylerine bağlı olarak elektrik enerji ihtiyacı her geçen gün artmaktadır. Birçok ülkede olduğu gibi Türkiye’de de elektrik enerji üretiminin büyük bir kısmında ise sınırlı olan fosil yakıtlar (kömür, petrol, doğalgaz) kullanılmaktadır. Ancak Türkiye’de bu yakıtların yetersizliği nedeniyle elektrik enerjisi üretimindeki dışa bağımlılık oldukça yüksektir. Bu çerçevede yenilenebilir enerji kaynaklarının etkili bir şekilde kullanılması ülkenin stratejik ve ekonomik menfaatleri açısından büyük önem arz etmektedir. Türkiye’de, yenilenebilir enerji kaynakları arasında rüzgâr enerjisi büyük bir potansiyele sahiptir. Bu çalışmada ilk olarak Türkiye Devlet Meteoroloji İşleri Genel Müdürlüğünden Kahramanmaraş’ta bulunan ölçüm istasyonundan saatlik rüzgâr hızı ve yönü verileri alınmıştır. İkinci olarak, bu veriler iki parametreli Weibull dağılımını elde etmek için Rüzgâr Atlası Analiz ve Uygulama Programına (WAsP) aktarılmıştır.  Rüzgâr türbini (1 KW) yıllık enerji üretimi bu dağılım eğrisi kullanılarak hesaplanmıştır. Rüzgâr türbini enerji üretiminin evin yıllık enerji talebini nasıl karşıladığı konusunda iki farklı senaryo incelenmiştir. Bu senaryoların ilkinde üretilen enerjinin tamamının şebekeye aktarılmış olmasıdır. İkicisinde ise üretilen enerjinin bir kısmının konut tarafından tüketilmesi kalan kısmının şebekeye aktarılmasıdır. Bu sistemde bu iki durum için maliyet ve ekonomik analiz gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu analizler sonucunda ikinci senaryonun daha avantajlı olduğu görülmüştür.

Today, depending on the levels of development in countries, the need for electricity is increasing every day. As in many countries, the majority of electricity production in Turkey is limited to fossil fuels (coal, oil, natural gas). However, due to the lack of these fuels in Turkey, the external dependence in electricity production is quite high. In this context, the effective use of renewable energy resources is of great importance for the country’s strategic and economic interests. In Turkey, wind energy has a huge potential among the renewable energy sources. In this study, first data were taken from the measurement station located in Kahramanmaraş from the Turkish State Meteorological Affairs General Directorate and the hourly wind speed and direction. Secondly, these data are transferred to the Wind Atlas Analysis and Application Program (WAsP) to obtain two-parameter Weibull distribution.  Wind turbine (1 KW) annual energy production is calculated using this distribution curve. Two different scenarios have been studied on how wind turbine energy production meets the annual energy demand of the house. This is the fact that all of the energy produced at the beginning is transferred to the network. The second is the transmission of some of the energy produced by the residential consumption to the network. In this system, the cost and economic analysis were carried out for both these situations. The results of this analysis showed that the second scenario was more advantageous.

The limited fossil fuels (petrol, coal and gas reserves) are used as in many countries to a major part of the electric energy generation as in Turkey. Because of the insufficient of these fuels in Turkey, the dependence on foreign sources for electric energy generation is very high. In this context, the effective use of renewable energy sources is greatly important for the strategic and economic interests of the country. The wind energy between renewable energy sources has great potential in Turkey. In this study, firstly the Turkish State General Directorate of Meteorological Service, the measurement station in Kahramanmaraş, taken from hourly wind speed and direction data. Secondly, these data have transferred to the Wind Atlas Analysis and Application Program (WAsP) for obtaining two-parameter Weibull distribution. The wind turbine (1 KW), annual energy generation has calculated using this distribution curve. Two different scenarios have been studied on how wind turbine energy generation meets the annual energy demands of the house. The first of these scenarios is that all of the energy generation has transferred to the grid. In the second, the part of the energy generation has consumed by the house and the remaining part of the energy generation has transferred to the grid. The cost and economic analysis have performed for these two scenarios in this system. As a result of these analyzes, the second scenario has found to be more advantageous.
