Özet:

The most important one among the agreements made for the purpose of unification of international trading law is The United Nations Convention On Contracts For The International Sale Of Goods, dated April 11, 1980. The contract was started to be implemented in Turkey since August 1, 2011. The United Nations Convention On Contracts For The International Sale Of Goods, in other words, Vienna Sales Convention contains provisions regarding the establishment, execution, and termination of the contracts related to the international sale of movable properties. Considering both the increase in international sales, and Turkey’s being a party to the Convention as well as the nature of the provisions contained in the Convention, it is extremely important to determine the scope of application of Vienna Sales Convention.The scope of application of the Vienna Sales Convention was arranged as the scope of application in terms of location, subject and time in the Convention. In this study, as well, the scope of application of the Convention was examined according to this distinction
