2019 yılı sonunda başlayan ve tüm dünyayı etkisine alan COVID-19 salgınından kaynaklanan zorunlulukla birlikte, dünyada ve ülkemizde örgün eğitimin tüm basamaklarında dijital destekli eğitim yöntemlerinin yaygın olarak kullanılmasına başlanmıştır. Bu yazının amacı COVID-19 salgını döneminde Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt Üniversitesi (AYBÜ) Tıp Fakültesinin dijital destekli eğitim yöntemlerinin kullanıldığı ‘Tıp Eğitimi’ tecrübesini paylaşmaktır. Bu olağanüstü dönemde Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi olarak, 2019-2020 Akademik Yılında yaşadığımız Covid-19 salgını dönemini Üniversitemizin uzaktan eğitim alt yapısını en iyi şekilde kullanarak tamamladık. Öğrenciler, öğretim üyeleri, eğitim kurulları ve yönetim birimleri eşgüdüm içinde çalışarak sürece katkı ve destek vermiştir. Tecrübelerimiz 2020-2021 Akademik Yılı hazırlıklarına da yol gösterici olmuştur. Öğrenciler ve öğretim üyeleri bu salgın sırasında ortaya çıkan dijital destekli eğitim yöntemlerine uyum sağladıkça, genel olarak tıp eğitiminin değişeceği zamanla daha rahat görülebilecektir.
With the obligation caused by the COVID-19 epidemic that began at the end of 2019 and has affected the whole world, digital-supported educational methods have begun to be widely used in all stages of the world and in our country. The purpose of this article is to share the experience of "Medical Education" where the digital-supported educational methods of the Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University (AYBÜ) Medical Faculty are used during the COVID-19 epidemic period. During this extraordinary period, as the Faculty of Medicine of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, we completed the Covid-19 epidemic period we lived in the 2019-2020 academic year using the sub-structure of our University’s distance education. Students, faculty members, educational councils and management units have contributed and supported as they work in coordination. Our experience has also been a guide to the preparations for the 2020-2021 academic year. As students and faculty members adapt to the digital-supported educational methods that occur during this epidemic, they will generally be more comfortable with the time the medical education will change.
With the necessity arising from the COVID-19 epidemic that started at the end of 2019 and affected the whole world, digital-supported education methods have started to be used widely in all steps of formal education in the world and in our country. The aim of this article is to share the ‘Medical Education’ experience of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University (AYBU) Faculty of Medicine using digitally supported education methods during the COVID-19 outbreak. In this extraordinary period, as Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Faculty of Medicine, we completed the Covid-19 epidemic period we experienced in the 2019-2020 Academic Year by using our university's distance education infrastructure in the best way. Students, faculty members, educational boards and administrative units worked in coordination and contributed and supported the process. Our experience has also guided the preparations for the 2020-2021 Academic Year. As students and faculty members adapt to the digital-supported education methods that emerged during this epidemic, it will be seen more easily over time that medical education will change in general.
