Abstract:

Target: Dilate cardiomyopathy (DK) is a condition that occurs as a result of the dilatation and systolic dysfunction of one or both ventricles. Racism is a very rare cause of DK. In this article, we will present a series of developing and successfully treated patients associated with rhinitis DK. Tools and Methods: Patients who have been traced with heart failure diagnoses associated with DK in our hospital in a child intensive care unit (YBU) have been scaned backward. Patients with other diseases that will cause heart failure, except hypocalcemia and vitamin D deficiency, are not taken to study. Results: Six patients developing heart failure associated with racism were included in the study. The average age of patients was 6.4±3.2 months. In all patients there was a growth rate. Although they were most frequently brought to the hospital due to breathing failure, all of them were detected signs of congestive heart failure during the first examination. The levels of vitamin D were low in all patients. Our patients were diagnosed with an average pre-treatment ejection fraction of 35.16% (±10.66) while 55% (±9.83) after treatment. After treatment, a clear improvement in the left ventricular function was detected. Result: In patients infected with heart failure diagnosis, racitism should be taken into account and must be treated because it can cause many other complications, including vitamin D deficiency, cardiomyopathy and heart disorder.
