Abstract:

Okul öncesi eğitim, bireylere eğitim ve öğretimle ilgili beceri, değer, uygulama ve ekinliklerin planlı bir şekilde kazandırılmaya başlandığı ilk dönem olarak ifade edilebilir. Bu nedenle önemi her geçen gün farklı platformlarda dile getirilen okul öncesi eğimle ilgili çalışmalar da giderek artmaktadır. Bu araştırmanın amacı, okul öncesi dönemde öğrenim gören öğrencilerin mekân algısı ve yön becerilerine yönelik öğretmen görüşlerinin incelenmesidir. Nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden biri olan durum deseniyle tasarlanan bu araştırma 2019-2020 eğitim öğretim döneminde hâlihazırda görev yapan toplam 26 okul öncesi öğretmeni ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada elde edilen veriler yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ile toplanmış ve bu veriler betimsel analizine tabi tutularak değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgulara göre, mekân algısı ve yön becerilerine yönelik okul öncesi öğretmenleri çeşitli kavram ve beceriler kazandırdıkları, bunları kazandırırken farklı yöntem, teknik, uygulama ve etkinlikler kullandıkları, bazı kavramların öğretilmesinde çeşitli nedenlerden dolayı zorluklar yaşadıkları ve son olarak bunlara ilişkin bazı çözüm önerileri sundukları görülmüştür.

Review of Teacher's Opinions on Pre-School Students' Placement Perception and Orientation Skills

Abstract:

Preliminary education can be expressed as the first period in which the skills, values, practices and subjects related to education and teaching begins to be planned. Therefore, the importance of the work on the pre-school trend, which is expressed on different platforms every day, is increasing. The purpose of this research is to study the teacher's views on the spatial perception and direction skills of students studying in the pre-school period. This research, designed with a state pattern, which is one of the quality research methods, has been conducted with a total of 26 pre-school teachers who are already working in the 2019-2020 educational period. The data obtained in the study was collected through a semi-configured interview form and these data were assessed by the subject of visual analysis. According to the findings obtained in the study, pre-school teachers for their spatial perception and direction skills gained a variety of concepts and skills, used different methods, techniques, practices and activities while providing them, experienced difficulties in teaching some concepts for a variety of reasons, and finally presented some solutions for them.
