Abstract:

B u research was carried out between 2008-2018 in Turkey with the aim of examining the thesis and article studies conducted to individuals with hearing disabilities in the field of sports science from various aspects. 8 doctoral theses, 21 master theses, 31 paper studies were included in the research. The method of document examination was used.  Studies, year, method, sample type, sample size, data collection tools have been studied in terms of variables. In the presentation of the research data, the content analysis method and the SPSS-17 program used frequency, percentage calculation was made. According to the study, the total of 60 scientific studies conducted between 2008 and 2018 were not sufficient in a decade period and were more conducted in certain years, methodically quantitative methods, studies with 100 or less participants in the sample size, the scale/inventory was preferred according to the data collection tools, and according to the sample type, the studies were conducted with mostly hearing disabled students. In this sense, it can be suggested that the increase in the number of studies on hearing disabilities, the preference of karma and quality studies should be in a way that will contribute to the theory of the area.
