Belgesel, geçtiğimiz birkaç on yılda büyük bir çeşitlilik göstermesine karşın John Grierson’ın belgesele dair yaptığı “gerçekliğin yaratıcılıkla işlenmesi” tanımının geçerliliğini koruduğunu söylemek mümkündür. Belgesel ortaya çıktığı andan itibaren ne gerçeklikten ve varolanlardan kopmuştur ne de varolanlara dair bir hikâye ve anlam dile getirmekten ve tüm bunları belirli bir Varlık anlayışı temelinde yapmaktan geri kalmıştır. Bu bağlamda, her bir belgeselin Heideggerci anlamda bir yandan varolanlara dair içeriği dolayısıyla ontik bir temel içerdiği, diğer yandan ise bir yaratımı gerçekleştiren insanın atılımı olarak onun ontolojik varoluşuna işaret ettiği söylenebilir. Bu çalışmada, belgesel, Heideggerci bir ifade ile oldum-olasılık ve şimdi tarafından belirlenen insanın kendini tasarlayarak, zamansallık olarak var olma biçimlerinden biri olarak ele alınacaktır. Bu yaratım, insanın Varlığa sahih olarak açılmışlık halidir. Diğer yandan anlamın geçerliliğini tayin eden hakikati, varolanlardan çekip çıkarmak gerekir. Bu şekilde kendimizi bir kez daha varolanlar arasında yani ontik zeminde buluruz. Bu bağlamda, bu çalışmada öncelikle (1) belgesel, Heideggerci bir ifade ile ontik-ontolojik bir belirlenime sahip olan insanın kendini Varlığa açma biçimlerinden biri olarak okunacaktır, bu temelde (2) belgesele zamansallıkta ortaya çıkan hakikati açanın tam da belgeselin ontik ve ontolojik zemin arasında süregiden salınımı olduğu gösterilmeye çalışılacak ve bu bağlamda (3) Grierson’ın bahsi geçen belgesel tanımı da yeni bir anlama kavuşmuş olacaktır.
Although the documentary has shown a great diversity over the past few decades, it is possible to say that John Grierson’s definition of the documentary “Reality is processed with creativity” preserves its validity. From the moment of the documentary appearance, it has not been separated from reality and existing, nor has it been behind to tell a story and meaning about existing, and to do all of it on the basis of a certain understanding of the Being. In this context, it can be said that each documentary contains an ontic basis because of its contents of the existing in the Heideggeric sense, and, on the other hand, it indicates its ontological existence as a breakthrough of the man who performs a creation. In this study, the documentary, with a Heideggeric expression, will be treated as one of the forms of existence, by being-eventually and by designing the person now determined by time. This creation is a form of openness to the human existence. On the other hand, the truth that determines the validity of the meaning must be pulled out of the existing. This way we will find ourselves once again among those that exist, that is, on the ontic ground. In this context, in this study, first (1) the documentary shall be read as one of the forms of the person who has an ontic-ontological determination with a Heideggeric expression, and in this context (2) the documentary will try to demonstrate that the truth that occurs in the time of the documentary is exactly the release of the documentary from the period between the ontic and the ontic background, and in this context (3) the documentary definition referred to by Grierson will also have a new meaning.
