Abstract:

Purpose: In our study, we aimed at evaluating the anatomical and functional results in patients with primary type 1 timpanoplasty using the accentuated traumatic cartilage island grip. (p<0,001) Result: These findings have led to the conclusion that in chronic otitis media cases, the traged cartilage islands greft timpanoplasty technique, in addition to the earnings of the airway hearing, greft success rates are also high. It is a desirable situation that the manipulation for the ideal greft is easy and the durability is too much. In this technique, it can be said that greft manipulation is easy, while increasing the surgical success, it also makes it easy from the point of view of the surgeon.
