Abstract:

The aim of this study is to reveal teachers' thoughts about the quality issues of the curriculum books and the use of a helpful book. The study’s work group consists of 8 teachers working in different branches and schools at different levels. The work was done using the research patterns. The data was collected using the semi-configured interview form prepared by the researchers. The data obtained was analyzed according to the visual analysis method. According to the research findings, the vast majority of teachers who participated in the study said that the lesson books had some quality problems. The teachers also pointed out that teaching books are insufficient in terms of the variety and number of questions; therefore they need help resources. The teachers who participate in the study have made a series of recommendations in the form of activities that the student will be active to improve the quality of the lesson books, the subject narrative should be clear and understandable, the number of questions should be increased, the books should be written according to the programming, the books should be prepared by specialists in the field and the books should be in accordance with the exam system and the student level. The researchers have concluded that the curricula should be equipped in such a way that teachers and students do not need other resources.
