Abstract:

This research aims to determine the views on the geography of graduates who had graduated from department of history, and took the programme of pedagogical formation. The study was conducted with 20 participants. The study is a descriptive research with its data collection tools. An interview form contains six open ended questions was used for collecting data. The data were coded and subjected to descriptive analyze. As a result of the study, participants emphasized several aspects of geography in the concern of the definition and the study area. It is understand that participants have partial information about geography and they prominence physical geography. All of the participants agree that geographical elements have connections with historical events. According to the participants physical geography elements have big impact on historical events. All of the participants agree that the programme of history must include geographical classes
