Abstract:

The geographical sign attracts attention as a topic on which researchers began to work on in international and national literature. The aim of this study is to identify the bibliometric characteristics of the research on the subject of geographical marks in the fields of gastronomy and tourism in the years 2004-2022. In this context, research has been achieved in the Web of Science Core Collection database. Study Gastronomy and Tourism fields have been presented with general visual data on the studies on the subject of geographical indications in the English language; the articles included in the research scope have been studied by years, by countries. The study provides key word analysis, information about the cooperation network of countries and authors. The study is considered a significant contribution to the studies on geographical signs in the fields of gastronomy and tourism and gastronomy literature.
