Bu çalışmada, Çatalca-Binkılıç Orman İşletme Şefliği’ne ait sürgün kökenli koru ve baltalık ormanlarının odun verimi karşılaştırmalı olarak incelenmiştir. Odun verimini tespit için amenajman planı verileri kullanılmış geçici örnek alanların ölçümleriyle de amenajman planı verilerinin uygunluğu denetlenmiştir. Baltalıkta yaş-hacim ilişkisi, ayrılan ve kalan meşcere hacimleri ile genel hacim verimi belirlenmiş Eraslan’ ın (1954), odun çeşitleri tablosu kullanılarak meşcere hacimlerinin tomruk, maden direği ve yakacak odun ürün çeşitlerine dağılımı bulunmuştur. Tomruk “100” olmak üzere fiyat endeksleri maden direği için “80” ve yakacak odun için “15,5” hesaplanmış ve böylece her yaş ve ürün çeşidi için fiyat endeksleri belirlenmiştir. 120 yıllık idare süresi sonunda fiyat endeksi baltalıklar için 4548 koru ormanları için ise bunun 5 katına yakın bir değer olarak 19282 bulunmuştur.
In this study, the wood yield of sprout-originated high oak forests and coppice forests in the Çatalca-Binkılıç Forest Sub-District was comparatively investigated. Management plan data were used to determine wood yield; the suitability of the management plan data was checked with the measurements of the selected temporary sample areas. The age-volume relationship in the coppice, the separated and remaining stand volumes, and the general volume yield were determined. By using Eraslan’s (1954) wood types table, the distribution of stand volumes to log, mine pole, and firewood product types was found. The price indices were calculated as “100” for the log, “80” for the mine pole, and “15.5” for the firewood, thus determining price indices for each age and product variety. At the end of the 120-year management period, the price index was found to be 4548 for coppices, and 19282, which is close to 5 times this value, for sprout-originated high oak forests.
