Human and machine relation is a popular theme since the beginning of science fiction genre. Whether machines and robots can be regarded as autonomous entities rather than being just a vehicle is one of the primary issue discussed in contemporary science fiction cinema. Going beyond technophobia and being in a more compromising position will be a guide for mutual human and technology relation. In this work, I will study I, Robot (Alex Proyas, 2004) as an example of a contemporary science fiction movie in the context of mentioned concepts such as "second nature", "evocative objects" and "cyborg ethic".
