During the rule of Ilkhanate, through the created historical background and contexts, in the relationship of knowledge group with the circle of sovereignty, oral and written sources as well as the will to create historiographical works, had appeared in the history of Turks and Mongols theme. Rashid-al-Din Fazlullah Hamadani, wrote the history of Turks and Mongols under the influence of the realities, needs and necessities of his time, by arranging the resources of the Mongols historical texts and comparing and analyzing them with data from other sources and finally, he strengthened his writing by appealing to oral narratives. Rashid al-Din has measured his writings in the field of study, along with oral resources and has given authenticity to oral narratives of Turks and Mongols. He has not set up any historical and written narrative in his own compilation that did not confirm oral narrator’s words and the structure of the its existing clans and he has removed its relevance from its historiography with a brief reference to the origin of the narrative.
