Murad döneminde saray hayatının dikkat çeken şahsiyetlerinden biri olan Cüce Zeyrek Ağa, Besni'de bir cami yaptırmış ve gerek caminin masrafları gerekse de cami görevlilerinin masrafları için vakfını kurmuş ve buraya kayda değer bir gelir bağlamıştır. Zeyrek Ağa Camisi'nde görevli kişilerin aldıkları ücretlere bakıldığında Besni kazasındaki diğer vakıf kurumlarında görevli olanlara ödenen ücrete göre hayli yüksek olduğu görülmektedir.
