Abstract:

In this study, the relationship between the stress seen in occupational safety experts and socio-demographic prorperties (gender, educational status, salary, specialization class, etc.) was tried to be examined. The research was carried out with 308 experts who answered the e-survey. Data were analyzed with SPSS® 22.0 statisticial package program. In the first part of the questionnaire, there are questions about socio-demographic characteristics, and in the second part, questions about evaluating the stress presence in occupational safety experts. As a result of the study, the main factors causing stress in occupational safety experts were revealed. According to this, employer intervention and difficulties in the implementation of the legislation are the situations that experts frequently complain about in their working life, while the length of the document preparation process and high responsibility are expressed as other sources of stress.
