Abstract:

The information and education of the public about the prevention of environmental problems that lead to the rapid consumption of natural resources and the preservation of nature is the most urgent thing to do. This information and education is very important in order to a safe future from a young age. However, it is necessary to provide positive attitudes and behaviors alongside the knowledge to the desired success in the training to be given to young age groups. This study aims to determine the levels of conversion of students into behavior with their general views on the environment and nature, learning ways, knowledge and behavior levels. The study was carried out in the sixth, seventh and eighth centuries, in the sixth, seventh and eighth centuries. There were 388 students in the classroom. The data obtained from the surveys were analyzed using the SPSS 18 package program. According to the results of the analysis, only 19% of the positive behaviors students show about the environment and nature are based on the information they obtain. Therefore, in addition to the information transfer in environmental education provided in schools, it should be supported by activities such as natural camps, planting, recycling, environmental observation, visits and competitions. It should also be included in arrangements such as application gardens, small greenhouses, bird houses, cottage, planting in the box, in the school physical spaces to give students environmental and natural awareness.
