Bu araştırmanı amacı “Azerbaycan Tarihi” ders kitaplarını içerik açısından ve pedagojik açıdan değerlendirmektir. Azerbaycan’da “Umumi Tarih” ve “Azerbaycan Tarihi” olmak üzere iki tarih çeşit tarih kitabı kullanılmaktadır. Bu kitaplar içerisinden “Azerbaycan Tarihi” ders kitapları değerlendirmeye alınmıştır. Araştırmada döküman analiz yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Ders kitapları betimsel analiz yöntemiyle değerlendirilmiştir. Pedagojik açıdan incelendiğinde Azerbaycan tarih ders kitaplarında şiir, örnek olay, temsili resimler, fotoğraflar, haritalar, görsellerden yararlanılmıştır. İçerik açısından Kafkasya coğrafyası merkez alınarak konular anlatılmıştır. Azerbaycan tarih ders kitapları savaşlara, toprak ve vergi sistemine de önemli yer ayırmıştır. Ders kitaplarında tartışmalı konular da dikkat çekmektedir. Ermeni halkı ile ilişkiler ders kitaplarında en fazla yer bulmuş konular arasındadır. Ders kitaplarında Rusya ve İran’a yaklaşım olumsuzken Azerbaycan’ın en yakın dostunun Türkiye olduğu dile getirilmiştir.
The purpose of this research is to evaluate the "Azerbaijan History" curricula in terms of content and pedagogical. There are two kinds of history books in Azerbaijan: "History of the People" and "History of Azerbaijan". These books are included in the "Azerbaijan History" lesson books. The research method was used for analysis. Teaching books are evaluated by the visual analysis method. When studied from a pedagogical point of view, the Azerbaijani history curriculum books used poems, examples of events, representative images, photos, maps, images. In terms of content, the Caucasian geography is centered on the issues. Azerbaijani history curricula has also given an important place to wars, land and tax system. There are also discussions in the lessons. Relationships with the Armenian people are among the topics found in the lessons. In the lessons, the approach to Russia and Iran is negative, while Azerbaijan’s closest friend is Turkey.
This study aims to evaluate Azerbaijani history textbooks in terms of content and pedagogical point of view. High school history textbooks are divided into two groups: World history and Azerbaijan history textbooks. Among these books, Azerbaijan's history textbooks were taken into consideration. The document analysis method was used in the study. Poetry, case study, representation pictures, photographs, maps, visuals, and techniques were used in the Azerbaijan history textbooks. In terms of content, Caucasian-centered issues are handled. The Azerbaijani history textbooks have also devoted considerable space to wars, land and tax systems. Controversial issues in textbooks are also noteworthy. The relations with the Armenian people are among the subjects that have the most place in the textbooks. History should flow a negative approach towards Iran, while Russia and Azerbaijan's closest friend is Turkey.
