Araştırmada okul öncesi müzik eğitiminde kullanılan Prodigies Music müzik eğitimi uygulamalarının olumlu ve olumsuz yanlarının, kullanılan materyallerin, eğitmen eğitimlerinin ve öğrencileri genel müzik eğitimine hazırlama durumunun uzman uygulayıcı görüşleri doğrultusunda değerlendirmesi amaçlanmıştır. Nitel araştırma desenlerinden durum çalışması kullanılmıştır. Basit rastgele örnekleme yöntemiyle belirlenen örneklem, Prodigies Music eğitmenleri arasından seçilen Preschool Prodigies (P. s. P) kademesinde aktif eğitim veren 9 eğitmenden oluşmuştur. Veriler yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme ile toplanmış, içerik analizi ile çözümlenip yorumlanmıştır. Yapılan çalışma, ülkemizde bu konu ile ilgili yapılmış az sayıda araştırmadan biri olması ve söz konusu eğitim uygulamalarının etkin bir şekilde yürütülmesinde yol gösterici sonuçlar taşıması nedeniyle önemli görülmektedir. Araştırmada Prodigies Music müzik eğitimi programının uygulamaları, eğitici materyalleri, çalgı hedefleri, Türkçe şarkılar ve eğitmen eğitimi ile ilgili olumlu ve olumsuz görüşler elde edilmiş, programın çoğunlukla çocukların müzikal gelişimlerine katkı sağlayacak nitelikte olduğu ve çocukları genel müzik eğitimine hazırladığı yönünde sonuçlar elde edilmiştir.
In the research, it was aimed to evaluate the practices of ProdigiesMusic used in preschool education in line with the opinions of expert tutors. The research was designed as a case study that is one of the qualitative research designs. The sample, determined by the simple random sampling method, consisted of 9 ProdigiesMusic trainers who were active training ProdigiesMusic at the Preschool Prodigies (P.s.P.) level. The data were collected by semi-structured interview and analyzed and interpreted with the content analysis method. The research is considered important because it is one of the few studies conducted on this subject in Turkey and it has guiding results in the effective implementation of the said educational practices. In the research, positive and negative opinions about the achievements of the ProdigiesMusic program, its applications, educational materials used, instrument objectives, Turkish songs and instructor training were obtained. It has been seen that the program is of a quality that will contribute to the musical development of children in many aspects and that the children are being prepared for general music education.
