Abstract:

Kur'an-ı Kerim'de müteşabih bir kavram olarak üzerinde en çok tartışılan ve yorum yapılan sözcüklerden birisi “istiva”dır. “İstiva”, hem müteşabih hem de mecaz bir sözcük olarak insanlar için kullanıldığında farklı, Allah için kullanıldığında farklı yo-rumlara neden olmaktadır. Özellikle yabancı kültürlerin ve felse-fenin Yahudiliği ve Hıristiyanlığı etkilemesi sonucu ortaya çıkan İlahiyat felsefesi, doğrudan Kur'an'ın yorumunu etkilemiştir. Bu makalede tarihi seyir içinde bu kavramın nasıl yorumlandığını ele alacağız.
