Ev ödevleri, ders içerisindeki kazanımların pekiştirilmesini ve kalıcı olmasını sağlayan en önemli etkinliklerdendir. Yabancı dil öğretimindeki başarı, ders dışında devam eden bir faaliyet olarak ödevlerin eğitim-öğretimde bir bütünsellik içinde uygulanmasına ve değerlendirilmesine bağlıdır. İstenilen öğretim hedefine ulaşmanın temel göstergeleri doğru ve çağdaş öğretim yöntem ve teknikleri ile birlikte, çok yönlü ölçme ve değerlendirme faaliyetleri ile öğrencilerden alınan geribildirimler oluşturmaktadır. Eskiden beri ister geleneksel, ister çağdaş olsun, hemen her dil öğretim yöntem ve tekniklerinde, önemli bir geribildirim aracı olarak kullanılan ödevler bir şekilde varlığını hissettirmekte ve sürdürmektedir. Teknolojik imkânlardan yararlanılarak iki buçuk yıl kadar süren küresel ölçekteki Covid 19 salgınından ve asrın felaketi olarak kayıtlara geçen 6 Şubat depreminden sonra, yeniden devreye sokulan uzaktan öğretimde bile az çok ödev verilmiş, uzaktan ödev verme ve değerlendirme konusunda farklı uygulamalar ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu çalışmanın genel amacı yabancılara Türkçe öğretiminde fiilen görev yapan öğretmenlerin ödevlere ilişkin farklı görüşlerini incelemektir. Bu maksatla araştırma nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden durum çalışması ile gerçekleştirilmiş olup elde edilen veriler, yabancılara Türkçe öğretiminde görev yapmakta olan on iki öğretim elemanından Google Form aracılığıyla elde edilmiştir. Veriler betimsel olarak çözümlenmiştir. Araştırmada ödev öncesinde yapılan uygulamalar, ödev sonrasında yapılan uygulamalar ve ödevle ilgili düşünce ve öneriler olmak üzere üç tema oluşturulmuştur. Katılımcılara göre, ödevler doğru ve iyi planlanıp değerlendirildiğinde yabancılara Türkçe öğretiminde başarıyı artırmaktadır. Ancak karşıt düşüncede olan öğreticiler de vardır ve onların bu yöndeki farklı tecrübelerinin dikkate alınması gerekmektedir.
Homework is one of the most important activities that ensure the reinforcement and permanence of course achievements. Success in foreign language teaching depends on the holistic implementation and evaluation of homework as an ongoing activity outside the classroom. Key indicators of achieving the desired teaching goal; It consists of accurate and modern teaching methods and techniques, as well as versatile measurement and evaluation activities and feedback received from students. Homework, which has long been used as an important feedback tool in almost every language teaching method and technique, whether traditional or contemporary, somehow makes its existence felt and continues. After the global Covid 19 epidemic, which lasted for two and a half years by taking advantage of technological opportunities, and the February 6 earthquake, which was recorded as the disaster of the century, more or less homework was given even in the reactivated distance education, and different practices regarding distance homework assignment and evaluation emerged. The general purpose of this study is to examine the different opinions of teachers who actually work in teaching Turkish to foreigners regarding homework. For this purpose, the research was carried out with a case study, one of the qualitative research methods, and the data obtained was obtained through Google Form from twelve instructors working in teaching Turkish to foreigners. The data were analyzed descriptively. In the research; Three themes were created: practices before homework, practices after homework, and thoughts and suggestions about homework. According to the participants, when homework is planned and evaluated correctly and well, it increases success in teaching Turkish to foreigners. However, there are also instructors who have opposing views and their different experiences in this regard should be taken into consideration.
