Abstract:

Communications, developments in transportation technologies and globalization and the boundaries between countries and people have been raised. As a result of this mobility, the environments in which people from different cultures gather together for different purposes and communicate have increased. One of them is the educational and educational environment. Educators who work in countries with different cultures in particular from their own culture are expected to be sensitive to cultural differences and have intercultural communication skills. In this context, the purpose of the research is to determine the perceptions of inter-cultural communication of teachers assigned to teach Turkish language and Turkish culture abroad by the Ministry of National Education. According to the results of this research, which was conducted using the phenomenological design from the quality research methods, it was found that teachers looked positively on intercultural communication. Their perceptions of the concept of cultural diversity have been more expressed as spiritual or abstract elements.
