Bütçe açığı ile enflasyon arasındaki karşılıklı ilişki, kamu maliyesi literatüründe yüksek öneme haiz olan tar-tışmalı konu başlıklarından bir tanesidir. İlgili çerçevede, makroekonomik göstergelerden bir tanesi olan enf-lasyonu düşük seviyelerde tutmak ise zaman ve coğrafyadan bağımsız olarak tüm hükümetlerin öncelikli hedeflerinden olmasından ötürü bütçe açıklarının enflasyon üzerindeki etkileri de önem kazanmaktadır. Bu çalışmada Avrupa’nın yükselen ekonomilerinden Bulgaristan, Hırvatistan, Çekya, Macaristan, Polonya, Romanya, Slovakya ve Slovenya’da bütçe açıklarının enflasyon üzerindeki kısa ve uzun dönem etkileri 1999-2019 dönemi verileri ile panel ARDL yöntemi ile araştırılmaktadır. Bu bağlamda çalışmanın amacı bütçe açıklarının enflasyon üzerindeki kısa ve uzun dönem etkilerini ortaya koymaktır. Panel ARDL yöntemi ile ya-pılan tahmin sonuçlarına göre çalışmanın örneklemini oluşturan ülkelerde bütçe açıkları kısa dönemde azal-tıcı etkide bulunurken, uzun dönemde ise artırıcı niteliktedir.
The mutual relationship between budget gap and inflation is one of the topics of the tar-external subject that has a high importance in public finance literature. In the relevant framework, while keeping the inflation, one of the macroeconomic indicators, at low levels, is a priority of all governments, regardless of time and geography; the impact of budget disadvantages on inflation also becomes important. This study examines the short and long-term effects of budget disadvantages on inflation in Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia from the emerging economies of Europe with the 1999-2019 period data and panel ARDL method. In this context, the study aims to reveal the short and long-term effects of budget gap on inflation. Panel ARDL method and the results of the project are estimated that in countries that make up the sample of the study, the budget gap has a reductive impact in the short term, while in the long term it is increasing.
