Abstract:

Coronavirus infection emerging in the world since the beginning of 2020, it has rapidly increased in almost all countries and has become a global pandemic. Countries have had to take certain measures in every field in order to overcome the pandemic process with the least impact. Face-to-face education has been suspended in most educational institutions. In this direction, in order to meet the education need, which is one of the basic human rights, distance education practices have been directed to many countries. by the Ministry of Education in Turkey preschool, elementary school, was introduced to the immediate application of distance education in junior high and high school. Teachers' views on distance education practices during the pandemic process are important in order to develop on-site determinations about the quality, advantages, disadvantages and limitations of distance education. In order to provide a healthier and more efficient education, it is necessary to determine the negative situations encountered with the feedback from the teachers. 82 teachers working in state schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education voluntarily participated in this study, in which quantitative research method was used. This research aims to examine teachers' views on distance education during the pandemic process, to identify the problems encountered and to make suggestions.
