Yoksulluğu anlama çabası ve yoksulluğun nasıl algılandığı yoksulluğun ortadan kaldırılması mücadelesinde giderek daha önemli hale gelmiştir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, göç eden kadınların yoksulluk kavramına bakış açılarını ve yoksulluğa karşı tutumlarını incelemektir. Çalışma kapsamında “yoksulluğun nedenleri” ve “yoksulluk tutum” ölçekleri kullanılmıştır. Çalışma Isparta’da gerçekleştirilmiş olup, anket formu amaçlı örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilen Isparta’ya göç etmiş 1067 kadına uygulanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda göç eden kadınların bazı demografik özellikleri ile yoksulluğa dair düşünce ve görüşleri arası anlamlı bir ilişki tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca çalışmada dünya genelinde göç olgusunun en çok kadınları etkilediği, yoksulluktan en çok kadınların etkilendiği, dünya genelinde hem göç hem de yoksulluk konusunda geliştirilen politikaların tam anlamı ile kadınlar için yeterli olmadığı sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır. The effort to understand poverty and how poverty is perceived has become more and more important in the struggle to eradicate poverty. The aim of this study is to study the views of immigrant women on the concept of poverty and their attitudes towards poverty. The study used the scales "the causes of poverty" and "the attitude of poverty". The study was conducted in Isparta and applied to 1067 women who migrated to Isparta, selected by the sample method for the purpose of the survey form. The study found a meaningful relationship between some demographic characteristics of migrating women and their thoughts and opinions about poverty. The study also found the findings that migration in the world affects many women, that women are affected by more than poverty, and that the policies developed in the world in the field of migration and poverty are not sufficient for women.
