Abstract:

The processes of internationalization of have been the subject of many research in the field of international business for many years. One of the future promising areas of these research is Global Born Businesses (GDI). Despite their limited resources and international experience, KDIs are conceived as small-scale enterprises that adopt an international or even global approach shortly after their establishment. This study is aimed at a comprehensive literary scan on KDIs. With a conceptual framework being presented, the research, which also discusses the latest developments on the subject, is believed to contribute to the lighting point for future studies. * This study is produced from a doctoral thesis under the title "A Comparative Research on the Organizational Skills and Impacts on the Export Performance of Global Born Companies in the Internationalization Process" adopted at the Manisa Celal Bayar University Institute of Social Sciences.
