This article includes the introduction of the book “Ethology, God and Law: Divine Command and Theories of Natural Law in the Context of Religion-Ethical Relationship.” The book analyses the theories of divine commandments and natural law. These two theories have an important place in the moral philosophy. The book deals with these theories with selected examples from the Christian Skolastic thought tradition and modern moral philosophy. The book discusses the origins and developments of theories. The book is a candidate to add a new dimension to the moral philosophy.
The aim of this paper is to review the book, “Ahlak Tanrı ve Yasa: Din-Ahlak İlişkisi Bağlamında İlahî Emir ve Doğal Yasa Teorileri (Ethics, God and Law: Theories on Divine Command and Natural Law in the Context of the Relationship between Religion and Ethics)”.
