Hydatid cyst is a Larvar infection caused by the parasite Echinococcus granulosus. It is endemic in our country. Although is often localized in the liver and lung, primary retroperitoneal placement rarely occurs. If retroperitoneal hydatic cyst is seen, further diagnosis should be made. For removal, total or partial excision of the cyst along with treatment of cyst contents in the abdominal cavity without the infection is done. Retroperitoneal lesions should be considered in the differential diagnosis. In this report two primary retroperitoneal hydatic cyst cases were presented
