Abstract:

Aim: The aim of this systematic review models between the years 1992-2020 in the field of school health nursing in Turkey / theory / graduate thesis is made using the theory systematically investigated. Material and Methods: The theses in the database of the Council of Higher Education National Thesis Center in the study were published between 15 January and 5 February 2020, in Turkish "adolescent", "school health", "primary education", "secondary school", "model", "theory" were searched using keywords. Twenty studies meeting the inclusion criteria in the study were systematically examined within the scope of the PRISMA rules within the scope of the year, research type, research type, model / theory used in the research and the sample of the research. Results: 35% of the theses are master's and 65% doctoral dissertations. According to the models used, it was observed that 20% of them used Health Behavior Interaction Model, 15% of Transtheoretic Model, 15% of Health Improvement Model, 15% of Health Belief Model. When the sample groups were examined, 40% of them were made by high school students, 25% were done in 2019 and 15% were done in 2020, according to research types, 30% of the postgraduate theses were descriptive, 30% were quasi-experimental, 25%. of them were determined to be randomized controlled trials. Conclusion: The obtained results of the research conducted in the field of school health nursing in Turkey and research models / theories draws attention to the lack of use. In this context, it may be suggested to support the use of models / theories in nursing education and in the field of school health nursing, to include studies on the use of models / theories, and to prepare guidelines.
