Kur’an’ın zahirine ters düşen bâtınî yorumlar ilk dönemlerden beri muhakkik sûfiler ve müfessirler nazarında kabul görmemiştir. Onlara göre Kur’an ve sünnete uyan yorumlar makbul, bunlara muhalif yorumlar da merduttur. Bu husus sûfi düşünce sisteminin temelini oluşturmuştur. Bu doğrultuda onlar eserlerinde görüşlerini serdetmişler, ayet ve hadisleri bu bağlamda ele alıp yorumlamışlardır. Kur’an ve sünnetin bâtınî manalarına ulaşmak için gerekli olan manevi temizliğe ehemmiyet göstermişlerdir. Bu ilmi elde etmek için kâmil bir insan rehberliğinde gönül dünyalarının arıtılması, nefislerin tezkiyesi ve kalplerinin tasfiyesi için azami gayret göstermişlerdir. Arınan gönle esrar-ı ilahi ve envar-ı ilahi damlaları dökülemeye başlamıştır. Gönle gelen nurlar ve sırlar da kimi zaman şiir olarak kimi zaman da nesir olarak sûfi müelliflerin eserlerinde yer bulmuştur. Bu çalışmada Sabûhî Ahmed Dede’nin İhtiyarât’ında ön plana çıkan işârî yorumlar ele alınacaktır. Öncelikle Sabûhî Ahmed Dede’nin hayatı ve eserleri, özellikle de İhtiyarât’ı ele alınıp incelenecektir. Daha sonra İhtiyarât’ta geçen beyitlerin ayet iktibasları ve bu iktibasların nasıl yorumlandığı ele alınıp incelenecektir.
