ADANA PROPOLİS ÖRNEKLERİNİN ANTİBAKTERİYEL VE ANTİFUNGAL ETKİSİNİN ARAŞTIRILMASI

Giriş ve Amaç: Propolis, yapısında 300’den fazla biyolojik olarak aktif bileşeni olan ve kompozisyonu ile bileşenlerinin oranları bölgeden bölgeye ve bitki türlerine bağlı olarak değişkenlik gösteren bir arı ürünüdür. Bu çalışmada Adana orijinli propolisin bazı Gram pozitif ve Gram suşlara karşı antibakteriyel, maya formundaki mantarlara karşı ise antifungal antifungal aktivitelerinin varlığı araştırılmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışmada Gram pozitif suşlardan Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 25923), Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 29213), Staphylococcus epidermidis (ATCC 12228), Enterococcus faecalis (ATTCC 29212), Streptococcus pyogenes ve Gram negatif suşlardan Esherichia coli (ATCC 25922), Pseudomonas aeruginosa (ATCC 27853), Enterobacter cloacae (ATCC 13047), Proteus vulgaris, Enterobacter aerogenes ve maya formundaki mantarlardan ise Candida albicans (ATCC 90028), Candida krusei (ATCC 6258), Candida glabrata (ATCC 32554), Candida tropicalis (ATCC 22019) ve Candida parapsilosis kullanılmıştır. Antimikrobiyal aktivite çalışmaları makrodilüsyon yöntemi kullanılarak CLSI önerileri doğrultusunda yapılmıştır. Bulgular ve Sonuç: Propolis örneklerinin Gram pozitif bakterilere karşı antibakteriyal etkileri (MIK değeri 64-1024 ȝg/ml), Gram negatif (MIK değeri 256-1024 ȝg/ml) ve maya suşlarına karşı elde edilen antimikrobiyal aktiviteden (MIK değeri 128-1024 ȝg/ml) daha yüksek olarak bulunmuştur. Mayalara karşı etkinliğin Gram negatif bakterilere nazaran daha yüksek olduğu saptanmıştır.

Abstract:

Propolis is a bees product with more than 300 biologically active components in its structure and varies depending on its composition and the proportions of its components from region to region and plant species. In this study, the presence of some Gram-positive and Gram-positive propolis originated in Adana and antibacterial anti-fungal activities against the fungus in the form of the mucus has been studied. In the study, the Gram-positive sugars Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 25923), Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 29213), Staphylococcus epidermidis (ATCC 12228), Enterococcus faecalis (ATTCC 29212), Streptococcus pyogenes and Gram-negative sugars Esherichia coli (ATCC 25922), Pseudomonas aeruginosa (ATCC 27853), Enterobacter cloacae (ATCC 13047), Proteus vulgaris, Enterobacter aerogenes and Mayan forms of fungi were used, while Candida albicans (ATCC 90028), Candida krusei (ATCC 6258), Candida glabrata (CC 325), Candida (CC 549) and Candida (Candida 22019) parapsilosis. Antimicrobial activity studies have been carried out in accordance with the CLSI recommendations using the macrodilusion method. Results and Results: Propolis samples had an antibacterial effect against Gram-positive bacteria (MIC value 64-1024 g/ml), Gram-negative (MIC value 256-1024 g/ml) and antimicrobial activity (MIC value 128-1024 g/ml) higher than the antimicrobial activity obtained against grapes. It has been found that the effectiveness against the mayas is higher than the gram negative bacteria.
