So many results that aren't mine?
References in many bibliographies are sometimes referred to as "Surname, I", so the citations of academics whose Surname and initials are the same may occasionally interfere. This problem is often the case with citation indexes all over the world.
How can I see only citations to my article?
After searching the name of your article, you can see the references to the article you selected as soon as you click on the details section.

Relation between flexibility, lower limb power, vertical jump performance in the context of sport and aging
2021

Author:
Abstract:

Introduction: An adequate level of flexibility allows the execution of movements with greater amplitude, strength and speed. Therefore, flexibility seems to be related to the performance in explosive motor gestures, such as vertical jumps. Objective: To present a theoretical approach about the possible existence of the association of the flexibility level with the performance in vertical jumps and the production capacity of muscular power of the lower limbs, besides the effects that the aging process can cause in these physical abilities and motor skill. Materials and methods: A narrative literature review was conducted by searching for articles in PubMed, SciELO, Science Direct, and Google Academics databases. For this purpose, articles in Portuguese and English language were considered. Results: After the searches, 57 articles were selected, which were used as the basis for writing the present study. Conclusion: This study provides a theoretical basis for the development of original studies that verify the relationship between flexibility measures, performance in vertical jumps and lower limb power in groups of different age groups or longitudinally in a specific group. Finally, it seeks to understand how the aging process acts on these physical abilities and motor skills, as well as the possible relationships between them.
