Yarıyıl Tatili Öncesinde ve Sonrasında İlkokul Öğrencilerinin Sesli Okuma Hızlarının Karşılaştırmalı Olarak İncelenmesi

Abstract:

Bu araştırmanın amacı, yarıyıl tatilinin ilkokul öğrencilerinin sesli okuma hızına etkisinin incelenmesidir. Araştırma, nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden tarama türündedir. Araştırma örneklemini Yozgat ili Sorgun ilçe merkezindeki bir devlet ilkokulundaki öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır. Toplamda 228 ilkokul öğrencisinden veri toplanmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak, Türkçe ders kitabından bir metin kullanılmıştır. Veriler ilk olarak ilk yarıyıl sonunda, sonrasında ise ikinci yarıyılın ilk haftasında toplanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, ilkokul ikinci sınıf öğrencilerinin yarıyıl öncesi sesli okuma hızı 74 kelime, yarıyıl sonrası sesli okuma hızı 85 kelimedir. İlkokul üçüncü sınıf öğrencilerinin yarıyıl öncesi sesli okuma hızı 89 kelime, yarıyıl sonrası sesli okuma hızı 93 kelimedir. İlkokul dördüncü sınıf öğrencilerinin yarıyıl öncesi sesli okuma hızı 86 kelime yarıyıl sonrası sesli okuma hızı 99 kelimedir. İlkokul öğrencilerinin yarıyıl öncesi sesli okuma hızı 82 kelime yarıyıl sonrası sesli okuma hızı 91 kelimedir. İlkokul ikinci sınıf öğrencilerinin, yarıyıl tatili öncesi ve sonrasındaki sesli okuma hızları arasında manidar farklılık vardır t(92)=10,37, p<0,01. İlkokul üçüncü sınıf öğrencilerinin, yarıyıl tatili öncesi ve sonrasındaki sesli okuma hızları arasında manidar farklılık yoktur t(62)=1,57, p>0,05. İlkokul dördüncü sınıf öğrencilerinin, yarıyıl tatili öncesi ve sonrasındaki sesli okuma hızları arasında manidar farklılık vardır t(71)=7,78, p<0,01. İlkokul öğrencilerinin, yarıyıl tatili öncesi ve sonrasındaki sesli okuma hızları arasında manidar farklılık vardır t(227)=9,64, p<0,01.

Comparative review of vocal reading speeds of primary school students before and after semester holidays

Abstract:

The aim of this study is to study the impact of semester holidays on the voice reading rate of primary school students. Research is a type of scanning from quantum research methods. The research sample is made by students in a state primary school in Yozgat or Sorgun district center. A total of 228 primary school students were collected. As a data collection tool, a text from the Turkish curriculum was used. The data were first collected at the end of the first semester and then in the first week of the second semester. According to the study, the pre-semester vocal reading rate of second-class students is 74 words, and the post-semester vocal reading rate is 85 words. Primary school third-class students' pre-semester voice reading speed is 89 words, post-semester voice reading speed is 93 words. Primary school fourth grade students' pre-semester vocal reading speed is 86 words after-semester vocal reading speed is 99 words. Primary school students’ vocal reading rate is 82 words and post-second vocal reading rate is 91 words. Primary second class students have a manidar difference between their voice reading speeds before and after semester holidays t(92)=10,37, p<0,01. There is no manidar difference between the vocal reading rates of primary school third-class students before and after semester holidays t(62)=1,57, p>0,05. Primary school fourth grade students have a manidar difference between their vocal reading speeds before and after semester holidays t(71)=7,78, p<0,01. There is a manidar difference between the vocal reading rates of primary school students before and after semester holidays t(227)=9,64, p<0,01.

There is a significant difference between the reading speeds of the first and second grade students before and after the semester t(92)=10,37, p <0,01. There is no significant difference between the reading speeds of primary school third graders before and after the semester break t(62)=1,57, p> 0,05. There is a significant difference between the reading speeds of the fourth grade students of the primary school before and after the semester t(71)=7.78, p<0.01. There is a significant difference between the reading speeds of primary school students before and after the semester t(227)=9,64, p <0,01.
