Abstract:

The study was aimed at the study of studies conducted by the method of action research on Turkish education as the mother tongue and foreign language. This study, which covers the action research towards Turkish education, is designed by a systematic study method. In the study, articles made with the method of action research on Turkish education as the main language and foreign language, the master's and doctoral theses were scanned. The type, subject, year, work group, application time, data collection tools, methods-techniques, results and recommendations have been studied. The study has achieved 22 articles, 19 master theses and 21 doctoral theses. 35 of the 62 studies studied in the field of class education, 27 in the field of Turkish education, were not found in a study related to the training of Turkish language and literature. The study has achieved studies on the subject between 2009 and 2019, and has not been found any studies on the subject in the years before 2009 and 2011. The research was conducted at 33 different universities, the most action research related to Turkish education was conducted at Gazi University and Çanakkale Eighth March University. The study found that most of the four basic language skills were done on writing and reading. The results of the study are mostly positive. The outstanding recommendations of the studies have been examined under four titles, including recommendations to educators, researchers, authorities and guardians.
