Abstract:

Purpose - The purpose of the study is to carry out the bibliometric analysis of the articles on organizational sustainability in the field of management and thus reveal the conceptual and intellectual structure of the field. Method - For this purpose, the Web of Science (WoS) database has been scaned and identified 725 publications passing the term "organic resilience" in the title, summary and keywords; 200 of them have been included in the research scope in the field of management. These publications have been studied using common word analysis and reference analysis techniques and maped with VOSviewer 1.6.18 software version. The most articles on the subject were published in 2021 and in the first seven months of 2022, and the references to these articles were also found to have reached the highest levels in those periods. As a result of the common word analysis, the most frequently studied keyword was Covid-19. This concept has been followed by crisis management, dynamic skills, supply chain resilience and company performance. According to reference analysis, the most referenced article belongs to Lengnick-Hall and his friends (2011). The publication of the Organizational Sustainability article and the most referenced magazine Human Resource Management Review was the most referenced institution at the University of North Carolina. Discussions - The study found that the interest in organizational sustainability in the management area increased significantly along with the Covid-19 epidemic. The study is expected to contribute to academic literature if needed by providing a general framework for organizational sustainability to the public and private sector managers.
