Abstract:

The piano has an important role in the piano training and the piano performance. The subject has been studied and studied by many researchers from different perspectives. In our country more than in recent years, outside our country, we have been working on the decryption of the piano for decades. This study aims to study in our country and abroad the academic studies conducted on the subject of decryption on the piano in a multi-dimensional manner. For the study; 5 master theses made in our country and accessible, 2 doctoral theses and 7 articles made abroad with 11 articles have been identified. 14 studies have been studied from abroad, 11 from abroad and a total of 25 studies have been studied in 10 different dimensions. When the studies were studied, the topic of the development of the decryption in the piano was more studied, the teachers who mainly work in the fields of music education in the country did work on the subject, and the researchers from different fields abroad did work on the subject. In the performance measurement of the piano, it has been seen that students/make-ups often use books related to the piano decryption, initial piano methods, and works written by researchers. The study shows that studies on professional pianists in foreign studies have been carried out, in our country there are only studies on high school and university music students; researchers from the field of psychology or medicine abroad do studies on the subject while in our country only researchers from the field of music have been carried out.
