Bu çalışmada amaç mezun konumda olan öğrencilerin hemşirelik derneklerine ilişkin görüş ve düşüncelerini derinlemesine araştırmaktır. Araştırma tanımlayıcı ve nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden “olgu bilim” deseni ile yapılmıştır. Bu araştırma, Türkiye’nin güneyinde bir üniversitenin hemşirelik fakültesinde dördüncü sınıfta okuyan öğrenciler ile yapılmıştır. Araştırma 11 öğrenci ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırma verileri Mayıs-Haziran 2019 tarihinde “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” ve “Yarı Yapılandırılmış Görüşme Formu” ile toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde, içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Öğrencilerin yaş ortalaması 21,10±2.30 olup, %66,0’sı kadındır. Öğrencilerin %72,7’si hemşireliği isteyerek seçtiği, %63,6’sı bölümü severek okuduğu ve %9’u hemşirelik ile ilgili bir derneğe üye olduğunu belirtmiştir. Öğrencilerin mesleki örgütlere ilişkin düşünce ve deneyimleri; “hemşirelik bilimi, profesyonellik ve metafor” temaları çerçevesinde verilmiştir. Öğrencilerin mesleki örgütlenmesinin istendik düzeyde olmadığı saptanmıştır. Ayrıca öğrenciler derneklerin mesleğe katkısını örgütlenme, mesleki değerler ve profesyonellik şeklinde belirtmişlerdir. Meslek örgütlerine ilişkin olumlu metaforlar ürettikleri söylenebilir.
The aim of this study is to investigate the graduate students' opinions and thoughts about nursing associations in-depth. The research has been conducted with the "fenomenology" design which is one of the descriptive and qualitative research methods. This study has been made with the fourth grade students of a nursing faculty at a university in southern Turkey. The research has been conducted with 11 students. Research data has been collected between May-June 2019 using "Personal Information Form" and a "Semi-Structured Interview Form". Content analysis method was used in the analysis of the data. The average age of the students is 21.10±2.30 and 66.0% of them are female. The students stated that; 72.7% of them chose nursing willingly, 63. 6% of them studied the department fondly, and 9% of them were members of an association related to nursing. Students' thoughts and experiences about professional organizations have been given with "Nursing Science, professionalism and metaphor" themes. It has been determined that the professional organization of the students was not at the desired level. In addition, students stated the contribution of associations to the profession as organization, professional values and professionalism. It can be said that they have produced positive metaphors about professional organizations.
