Women's health is affected by many factors such as the development status of the country, education level, socio-cultural characteristics and lifestyle behaviors. Women's health services focus on the physical, psychological and social problems faced by women throughout their lives. The health of women, who make up half of the world's population, is characterized by both their physiological characteristics and the problems caused by gender inequality. Women's health differs and has priority in all segments of the society. The reason for this is the physiological burden of woman's issue reproductive Along with the negativities brought about by their physiology, women's health is affected by many factors including the status in the society, income and expenditure of the family and sociological status of the family, working environment, family and social relations. When women reach their reproductive age, they encounter many adverse events such as unwanted pregnancies, adolescent pregnancies, unhealthy miscarriages, sexually transmitted infections, prenatal, birth and postpartum complications, and maternal death. According to health researches around the world, women survive longer than men and be faced with more disability and disease. Population and health surveys (TDHS) enable us to obtain valuable data on health and population at national and regional levels to assess a range of indicators. While women's health indicators provide information about the health status of women, they also show the development level of the society. Therefore, women's health indicators are important. In line with these data, health professionals undertake the responsibilities of providing care to women in the prenatal, birth and postpartum periods, identifying the problems they experience and referring them to a higher health institution when necessary, preventing unwanted pregnancies by providing family planning consultancy.In this review, it is aimed to address the determinants of health and health status of women in reproductive age according to the data of TDHS in our country.
