Due to advent of electronic gadgets in daily life, it has become impossible to detain the young ones from their use. This research study aimed to look into the debate of good or bad impact of electronic gadgets, specially the smart phones. For this purpose, Intelligence Quest tests were tailored for two strata of the students, keeping in view their academic level. These student were selected by using a combination of stratified and multistage cluster sampling technique among different tier of Government and Private schools. Smart phone consumption pattern of students was assessed against their score in IQ test attempted by them. Findings of the study revealed that there was a negative relationship between usage time of smart phones and score in IQ test. Moreover financial status of the respondent was found to be directly proportional to the consumption time of gadgets.
