This study was conducted at the Laboratory of Plant Physiology at the Ziraat Faculty of Mustafa Kemal University. In the research, the varieties of APPLE GL, ECOLOCIG, BARMINTON and SOLSTIC II multi-year grass (Lolium perenne L.) were used as plant material. Test random parsels are set in the test pattern in factorical order and 4 wheels. To determine the reaction of multi-year grass varieties to salt stress, 0, 50, 100, 150 and 200 mM NaCl salt concentrations have been applied. The study studied the greening rate, the greening index, the average greening time, the sape length, the root length, the sape age weight and the root age weight. From the characteristics reviewed, the grinding rate, the grinding index, the average grinding time, the sape length, the root length, the sape age weight and the root age weight values varied statistically depending on the variety. All the characteristics reviewed have been determined to be negatively affected by increased salt concentration levels and this effect is statistically important. The research has shown that the SOLSTIC II variety, which shows better grinding and fide development in salt conditions, can be preferred in salt conditions.
