So many results that aren't mine?

Abstract:

Birinci Dünya Savaşı sırasında İngilizler Khanikin’in de dahil olmak üzere Osmanlı topraklarına girmişlerdir. İngilizlerin, Süleymaniye şehrinin lideri sayıların Şeyh Mahmut ile bu dönemde zaten ilişkileri bulunmaktadır. Ancak İngilizler, Kifri bölgesindeki Kürt reislerinin, Talabani ailesinin ve bölgenin dini lideri Seyit Ahmet’in İngiliz taraftarı olduğunu öğrenince bölgeye daha çok önem göstermeye başlamışlardır. Buna Şeyh Mahmut’un İngiliz Hükümetine Kürdistan için gönderdiği mektupta eklenince İngilizler bölgede tecrübesi olan Binbaşı Noel’i Güney Kürdistan’a göndermiştir. Ayrıca İngilizlerin Ermenilerin durumuyla da yakından ilgilenmeye başlamaları bölgede İngiliz, Kürt ve Ermeniler arasında ilişkilerin doğmasına neden olmuştur
