Abstract:

The aim of this study is to discuss the appearances of the tassra in the comedy films produced in Turkey after 2000 and successful in vision through Vizontele (Yılmaz Erdoğan, Omer Faruk Sorak, 2001), Vizontele Tuuba (Yılmaz Erdoğan, 2004), Government Woman 1-2 (Sermiyan Midyat, 2013), Dedemin People (Çağan Irmak, 2011) and Wedding Association (Selçuk Aydemir, 2013) as a nostalgic symptom. In the shadow of a historical event such as military coup, exchange and the Cyprus Movement, or in the background of social events from the type of wedding, these films, starting with the tragic external sound of the male character, suddenly turn into a structure that suppresses the historical experience with grotesk pastures. In these comedies, the symptom is revealed in the repressive activity of funny repetitions, and the tragic repetition of the historical event is a device presented to the service of the comedy for the repressive mechanism. This study aims to discuss the potential of the social approach to the dual structure of identity building processes such as central-environment, conservative-secularity rather than a philosophical approach to the nature of re-innovation. Therefore, our core focus, by moving from thinkers such as Marx, Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, Deleuze, Lacan, Zizek, Boym and Zupancic, will be prospective (in advance) nostalgia, differences and repeats, concepts such as symptoms.
