Dilde yaygın olarak kullanılan türlerden sayılan örtmece ve tabu sözler, toplumların sosyo-kültürel yapısıyla ilgili olarak değişim gösteren bir kullanıma sahiplerdir. Farklı sebeplere bağlı olarak kişide korku ve üzüntü uyandıran bir sözün veya kavramın adının yasaklanması olarak nitelendirilen tabu ile doğrudan söylenmesi ayıp veya uygunsuz karşılanan ve kişide utanma duygusu uyandıran bir sözün veya ifadenin daha uygun ve kibar bir ifade ile değiştirilmesi olarak nitelendirilen örtmece kavramları, dilin kullanım alanına çeşitlilik ve zenginlik katması açısından farklı bir önem arz etmektedir. Bu yazıda kuramsal açıdan tabu kaynaklı olduğu düşünülen örtmecelerin, toplumun geleneksel yaşantısı içerisinde söylenmesi uygun görülmeyen birçok söz veya ifadenin üstü örtü biçimde söyleniş biçimleri, Kırgız toplumundaki “ölüm” kavramı ile ilgili kullanılan örtmece sözler çerçevesinde izah edilmeye çalışılmıştır.
The cover and taboo words, which are among the species commonly used in the language, have a change in the social-cultural structure of societies. According to various reasons, the direct speech of a word or concept that causes fear and sadness in a person, which is called the prohibition of the name of a word or concept, is disgraceful or inappropriate, and the covering concepts that are called the replacement of a word or expression that causes a feeling of shame in a person with a more appropriate and gentle expression, have a different importance in terms of adding diversity and wealth to the sphere of use of the language. In this article, many words or expressions that are not appropriate to be spoken in the traditional life of the society, which are considered to be theoretically taboo sources, have been tried to be explained in the framework of the cover words used in relation to the concept of "death" in the Kyrgyz society.
The euphemism and taboo words, which are considered to be widely used in the language, have a changing use in relation to the socio-cultural structure of societies. The euphemism concepts, which are described as the prohibition of the name of a word or concept that causes fear and sadness, and the taboo that is described as the prohibition of the name of a person, or a more appropriate and polite expression, which is described as a more appropriate and polite expression. It has a different importance in terms of adding diversity and richness. In this article, it is tried to be explained within the framework of the cover words used in the Kyrgyz society in terms of cover words, which are thought to be taboo originated theoretically, in many ways or expressions that are not considered appropriate in the traditional life of society.
